Our Call to Share the Savior's Gospel
Elder Quentin L. Cook recently shared that one way to fulfill your calling to gather Israel is to "stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places" (Mosiah 18:9).
He stated, "As we live the gospel, love and serve others, stand strong in the face of temptation and persecution, and bear testimony in word and deed, we will draw others to Jesus Christ" ("Our Call to Share the Savior's Gospel," Liahona, July 2023, 7).

If you want to donate soap (hand or body, liquid or bar) for the Napa based emergency humanitarian services group “Agape” agapenapa.org, there will be a collection box in the hallway by the RS the next Sunday.

- No cooking/baking in July and August.
- 8/19 Stake RS Conference - Building Unity in Worldwide Sisterhood - 10:00 - 12:00 at the Stake Center. Lunch will be served. Bring iPads, computers, phones. We will be tying quilts for Ukraine. There will also be several speakers.
- 8/23 Book Club - No book club in July. We will talk about the books we have read over the summer.
- 8/30 Lunch with the Ladies 11:30 AM at Hop Creek
- 8/30 Garden Party 6:00 - 8:30 PM at Caren McMenamin’s home. Please bring a salad or a dessert to share.

Missionary Opportunities
Have you met our missionaries that are serving in the Napa Ward yet? They are absolutely awesome! Do you know anyone that needs a visit from them? A friend or a neighbor? Let them know. They would love to take a message of hope and peace to any of your friends.
You will find the sign up calendar for the elders serving in our ward attached to this email. If you are able, please find a day that works to have them for dinner. We are only asked to feed them on Saturday and Sunday during the month and it is a blessing to have them in your home. If you are a single sister that would want to feed the elders, you may. The rules for this is that another male who is 18 or older will need to be present OR two other females. Thank you to those that continue to feed the missionaries that are currently serving in our ward. It is appreciated. If you have trouble with the sign up, you can text 304-668-3051 and Trish will sign up for you.
